Can you make a CAD model from photos?
Yes, if the photos include a scale reference and you can give us a few key measurements. Photos plus measurements are often enough for brackets, covers and replacement parts.
What do you need to start?
A 3D scan (STL, OBJ or PLY), or photos and measurements of the part. Tell us which features matter most for fit and function.
Do you do the 3D scanning?
We work from your scan data or measurements. If you do not have a scan, we can advise on getting one or model from careful measurements.
Will the model be editable?
Yes. We build a parametric model with a clean feature tree, not a mesh converted to a solid, so you can change it later.
How accurate is it?
Critical features are rebuilt to the dimensions you confirm. We flag anywhere the scan and the likely design intent disagree before we finish.
How is it priced?
