Can I just use a free PDF to CAD converter?
For a clean vector PDF, a converter gives you lines, but text, dimensions and layers usually break and scanned PDFs do not convert at all. If you need to edit the drawing or manufacture from it, it is faster to have it redrawn properly.
Can you convert a PDF to AutoCAD?
Yes. We redraw the PDF in AutoCAD at the correct scale with layers, dimensions and text, and deliver DWG or DXF.
Is this automatic conversion?
No. Automatic tools trace lines and break text and dimensions. We redraw the drawing properly, so the file is clean and editable.
Can you turn a sketch into a 3D model?
Yes. Send the sketch with the key dimensions. We model it in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 and send back native files plus STEP.
What if my scan is hard to read?
We mark anything unclear and ask before guessing. You approve the questioned dimensions before we finish.
